Champions Crowned at Season Finals

The Canadian Motorcycle Drag Racing Association wrapped up its 2022 campaign with the Season Finals, held on September 10th and 11th at the MHDRA Drag Strip in Medicine Hat in Southern Alberta. Sponsored by Pido Productions Ltd. audiovisual equipment company, the final race of the year offered competitors to solidify their position in the overall points standings.





It was an epic season for all competitors and attendees! With multiple competitors in Pro Extreme running personal bests throughout the season.

In the VP Fuels Pro Drag class, Al Miles came in hot and took home his 7th CMDRA Championship!

Gasoline Alley Racing made all the finals through the season winning four out of five races in Hot Twin & Pido Productions Super Gas. They ended up number one and bringing home championships in both categories at Nationals.

Carl Mills came in and dominated- with quadruple wins at Len’s Performance and Cycle Northern Nationals at NITRO Motorsports in Prince George!! Carl won in Quality Trophies Pro Extreme, V Pro, Pido Productions Super Gas and Turple Brothers Crazy 8’s.

Adam Hettler came in to win both classes he entered he entered in Len’s Performance and Cycle Northern Nationals at NITRO Motorsports in Prince George- Universal Cycle Super Bike & Southland Powersports Street.

Neil Churchill had a fantastic rookie season in the Universal Cycle Super Bike class, as well as the Southland Powersports Street class. It was great to see a newcomer come in an thrive on the track.

Nikki Kidd came in to claim her first win in Turple Bros Crazy 8’s in the Pido Production Badland Nationals at the MHDRA Drag Strip in Medicine Hat.

Dana Corkle took the title in winning his fist championship in the Universal Cycles Super Bike class.

Both index classes had very close competition this year. This was an incredibly competitive season for all classes. A very well-done job by all the racers. It was a blast to watch, and we cannot wait until next season!

VP Fuels Pro Drag: Al Miles took home his seventh championship! The runner up in this category was Doug Casson.

Quality Trophies Pro Extreme: Gary Henault took the championship. The runner up in this category was Carl Mills.

Quality Trophies V Pro: Carl Mills took home the championship. The runner up in this category was Tim Mack.

Turple Bros Crazy 8’s (8.88 index): Carl Mills took home the championship. The runner up for this category was Brad Shier.

Pido Productions Super gas (9.70 index): Garrett Price Third Championship! Carl Mills was the runner up for this category.

Universal Cycle Super Bike: Dana Corkle took home his first championship! The runner up for this category was Clayton Potter.

Hot Twin: Jeremy Lott took home his first championship! The runner up in this category was Bruce Romak.

Southland Powersports Street: Adam Hettler took home another Championship! The runner up in this category was Clayton Potter.

XL 883: Trevor Flight took his first championship in this category as a former Hot Twin champion. The runner up for this category was Liz Belanger.
