This past weekend the Horsepower Hustle motorcycle grudge racing series put on a high-quality show of the fastest grudge bikes in the country. Not only did it crown four winners in their points-earning classes, but the event also yielded a historic world record pass.

HISTORY

Saturday night during test and tune passes, Chris Moore on ‘Melania’ made a test pass that yielded a 5-second pass in the quarter-mile. He ran a 5.966 at 229.78, making him the fastest non-nitro motorcycle in the world. However, since he did not post the full time slip with incrementals, it has led to much speculation about its legitimacy. If Moore posts a time ticket, he is technically blocked from running Grudge events for one year by most series standards, for this reason, he can not post the eight-mile times.

Representatives with Horsepower Hustle have verified his performance and back his claims, putting the controversy to rest.
