HP to Sponsor Gadson Drag Bike School

Hewlett Packard of South Africa is proud to sponsor the Rickey Gadson Drag Racing school in South Africa. The news of Gadson’s school launching in SA has sparked incredible interest within the ommunity.

Gadson will make a special appearance at HP’s Commercial & Supplies event: “The Science behind Printing”, and will launch the dragbike school in South Africa by giving drag  racing classes. to HP employees and their families.  The classes  will coincide with the first South African National Drag racing Championship to be held on 29 February 2004 at the new $10 million Wesbank Racing Facility in Gaugeng Province.

The schedule of the event and classes will be as follows:

19th & 20th Feb.: “Science of Printing” event at Monte Casino of Rickey &  Fransie
21st Feb.: Meeting with Kawasaki
22nd Feb: Drag School for kids from the Wesbank/HP Development Program
22nd Feb: Publicity appearance at Wesbank Raceway
23rd Feb.: Men’s Track School (oval)
24th Feb.: Women’s Track School (oval)
25th & 26th Feb.: Drag School (Drag school on 26th Feb. will be held on the evening)
27th Feb.: Race set-up
28th Feb.: Family Fun-day for HP customers
29th Feb.: South African National Drag-Racing Championship
