The famous International Drag Bike League (IDBL) WPGC Bike Fest from Maryland International Raceway on July 28-30, to be broadcast on ESPN3, will now include the largest motorcycle show in event history. On Sunday, July 30, some of the nation’s top builders and customizers will compete in a variety of categories for 16 total awards.
“The motorcycle show has always been an important and popular part of the Bike Fest. This year we wanted to make it bigger and better than ever,” IDBL President Jack Korpela said. “Please spread to work to anyone who has a great-looking motorcycle. This is a lot of fun and there is a category for everyone.”
Classes include: Best Sport Bike, Best Bagger, Best Cruiser / Chopper, Best Paint, Best Wheels, Best Helmet and Best of Show along with three different sound categories.
Popular Team Money Cycles will help run the event alongside respected custom groups Garwood Custom Cycles, Throttle Life and Bagger Boyz.
“Sound meets speed! You will have some of the top motorcycles on the East Coast with some of the top audio systems,” said Rickie Will, owner of Team Money Cycles. “This will be the best of the best. All roads lead to Maryland International Raceway July 30 for one of the best shows in the D.C. – Maryland – Virginia area.”
On Sunday, gates open at 8 a.m. Bike show registration will take place from 9 a.m. to noon, with the show running from noon to 3 p.m. The awards presentation will take place at 3:30 p.m.
