2017 Motorcycle Drag Racing Schedule
Man Cup motorcycle drag racing series has confirmed it’s schedule for the 2017 season. The addition of an eighth-mile event will highlight the biggest change for the 2017 Man Cup national championship points chase. The upcoming season will feature events at four different venues:
- April 7-9 / 36th Annual – South Georgia Motorsports Park Valdosta, GA
- June 2-4 / 29th Annual – Memphis International Raceway
- July 15-16 / Inaugural – MTC Engineering Nationals / Galot Motorsports Park Benson, NC (1/8 mile)
- September 23-24 / 30th Annual Rockingham, NC
- November 17-19 / 41st Annual – South Georgia Motorsports Park Valdosta, GA
Once again starting in April and ending in November, the 2017 season has a few changes based on feedback from our racers. Rockingham will go from two events to one, Memphis has been moved from July back to the beginning of June for cooler temperatures. And the biggest change for 2017 is the addition of an eighth-mile race at the newly remodeled Galot Motorsports Park, this will add another dynamic to the points chase. MTC Engineering came right on board for sponsorship of the inaugural Galot event before the 2017 season schedule could officially announced.
