Changes to the Pro Street Shootout

The All-Star Pro Street Shootout specialty event is still on for the 43rd annual FuelTech World Finals presented by Kibblewhite and Wiseco. Unfortunately, the event has unexpectedly lost its sponsorship so there will be changes to the payout structure.

The Man Cup All-Star Shootout at the season-ending World Finals will still be run on a 32 bike format to assure that if you qualify, you have a shot to win. This massive year-end race will feature a payout of 80% to win and 20% to runner-up of the Shootout entry fee. The shootout was a great addition to the already stout APE/Trac King Clutches Pro Street class. In addition to the Shootout riches, racers will also be vying for the event title and if that racer wins both the Shootout and the Cup event, there is an additional $1,000.00 bonus waiting that will push his or her winnings even higher!

However, it’s not just the increased payout that will make things interesting, as for this year’s event, like previous versions, will still be adjusted to allow FIM/European Superstreet Bike Cup competitors to participate.

“If you’re a domestic Pro Street racer or one from overseas, the Man Cup World Finals is certainly the place to be to compete against the very best in the class. Although we are disappointed to lose the sponsorship for the event we have decided to push forward with it and will try to find a replacement sponsor to bring the purse level back to, or hopefully higher in the future” said Man Cup Director Jay Regan.
