Sunday 9am –It’s another great day here at Maryland International Raceway. We finished up last night a little bit after midnight, but the Dragbike.com staff is bright eyed and busy tailed and ready to see some fast racing action. Last night in Pro ET the competition was fierce with 8 round of racing for Alan Fields to take the win over Melvin Armel. In Street ET it was an all Kawasaki ZX-10 Final with Steven Murray taking the win over PST racer Tony Ficher.
Jeremy Teasley had a great day yesterday taking the #1 qualifying spot in both Pro Street with a 6.907 and in Real Street with a 7.767. In Pro Street the DME Racing team is all stacked on the bottom half of the ladder together. Teasley , Gall and Witt are on the other side of the ladder and this race is for the taking with everyone running close numbers. Real Street will also be a lot of close racing with a potential for the father and son team of James and Jeremy Teasley to face off in second round.
Last night tech torn down several Pro Street and Real Street bike looking for illegal forks. This actually worked to Doug Gall’s advantage because he found a few things that needed to be fixed for today’s competition. And the Pro Street Champion is ready for a win this weekend, so keep your eye on him.
In 4.60 #1 qualifier Cameron Shelton has a bye to second round. Your top 10 qualifiers are all running in the 4.6x’s so this growing class will be fun to watch today. Stay Tuned and we will be posting updates all day long today with photos and videos.
Sunday 9:30am – The DME Racing team swapped out motors last night in Terrence Angela’s bike. He just made a shakedown pas son his Pro Street bike in Pro ET. and ran a 7.08 at 209mph. He looks ready to go!Ryan Schnitz on the HTP Pro street bike makes a shakedown pass in Pro ET, he had some issues and had to shut off early.
Sunday 12:00pm – The first round of Pro Street we had two 6.90 passes from Gladstone (6.903) and Teasley (6.909). Everyone is waiting on that 6.8x pass and these boys are teasing us! But we are excited to see Joey’s 220.29 MPH, which shatters the old 213 record ran by Joey last April. We have sheets posted on the class pages below.
Sunday 3pm – Due to a computer gliche we are waiting for a rerunbetween Richard Gadson and Darryl Hollins to finish the round. In Pro Street, not only did we not get the elusive 6.8x pass, we also saw the entire DME team put out. Jeremy Teasely had big wheelies out of the gate that cost him his round. Joey Gladtone had to shut the bike off at the line. Doug Gall ran a 7.063 in round 2 and is now the favoriite to take the win today. We are posting class results below on the class pages as we get them. Videos are uplaoding all day along with photos.
Sunday 4pm – Teasley and Gadson heading to the Real Street final and Doug Gall and Danny Cox heading to the Pro Street Final! Dragbieklive.com with be using their new drone for the final round, so look for that in a few days. The program is starting to move fast, we will continue to post sheets and update the classes, but our blog will suspend until we get full results posted or something spectacular happens.
Sunday 6pm – Teasleytakes the win over Gadson in the Real Street final and Danny Cox takes the win over Doug Gall in Pro Street. While Doug Gall was the favorite to win with his previous pass of 7.00, Turbo problems he had on Saturday finally caught up to him and he blow up on approach to the finish line. We still have the 4.60 final coming up with Cameron Shelton and Darryl Hollins.
BAMF competitors are still gunning away in the sportsman classes. We are getting down in rounds and we post results as sson as we have them!

FRIDAY 9am – The world’s largest motorcycle drag racing series, Mickey Thompson MIROCK Superbike, returns to Maryland International Raceway for the Fast by Gast Summer Nationals this weekend. The combination of a perfect forecast on Saturday and Sunday, with the combination of great track prep is always a recipe for records. This weekend the forecast is set for mid 70’s with sunny skies. At the MIROCK Spring Nationals many people were hopeful Joey Gladstone on the DME/ Vance And Hines machine would run a 6.8x pass and set a new Pro Street record, despite the scattered rain and winds we had that weekend. The current MIROCK Pro Street ET record is held by Joey Gladstone at 6.907. You can see all the Pro Street rounds from the last race on our YouTube Channel.
