WORLD FINALS

America’s fastest growing motorcycle drag racing series faces a hectic and action-packed double schedule as staff and racers alike push through a two-race weekend that will decide season champions at the DME/Prostock Inc. World Finals at Brownsburg’s Lucas Oil Raceway.

With eliminations from NHDRO’s August race rained out, Saturday’s qualifying this time around will also be the first race day of the weekend for all classes. See Result to this race after World Finals coverage on this page. 

Weekend Highlights

• Brandon Mitchan Wins the August Pro Street Event and runs a career best of a 6.82
• Frankie Stotz took his Honda 1000 to a 6.77 from a previous best of 6.908!
• 28 Six-Second passes were made in Pro Street during competition.
• The GOAT List leader, Rodney Williford,  does not qualify for the Pro Street A class
• The Fastest Pro Street B Class win in History – Rodney Williford takes the win over Jake Henderson with a 6.731 at 223.69 mph
• Ehren Litten moved up on the GOAT list form a 6.72 to a 6.68
• Mark Gargiulo ran a career best with a 6.70
• The Williford racing team now occupies the top 3 spots on the Pro Street GOAT List.
• Ryan Hable was DQ’d for illegal fuel in round 3 of qualifying.
• Tylan Beckelheimer took his first NHDRO win in Street ET.
• For the first time in NHDRO history, a Streetbike won the Top Gas Championship – Congratulations to Jeremy Teasley.
• Current Dragbike.com BAMF points leader, Dustin Lee, wrapped up the 2017 Championship for the third year in a row with wins and championship points from this weekend.
• The Pro Street Shootout was canceled for Saturday night because of the program running behind schedule and the funds were moved to the Sunday purse.
• Ron Arnold won both Street Fighter races.
• Jeremy England took two wins in Top Gas and Pro ET.
• Kevin Adams took two wins in Top Gas and Super Comp.
• Grudge racer, Kill Bill (aka Desmond Jerel Spaulding) suffered a violent top end wreck and was released only hours later with no broken bones!
