Orient Express Bikes in the Valley : Race 2 Results

The second Orient Express Bikes in the Valley started off with morning rain, but the sunshine and Lebanon Valley Dragway staff moved in and provided us with a great day of racing.

The competition was tight and so were the reaction times the top 4 qualifiers in Vanson Pro ET and the top three in Brock’s Performance Street ET were .00 lights ( no delay boxes aloud)

Paul Anderson took the Exoticycle  #1 qualifier cash in Brock’s Street ET with a.002 reaction time .

Bill Tallman took the JBT Performance #2 qualifier cash in Brock’s Street ET with a.007 reaction time.

Once again it was mike Sweeney Jr taking the DME Racing Quick ET cash in Brock’s Street ET on the Nadeau Bros Busa.

Brocks Performance

The Brock’s Performance Street ET field had 28 entries and was full of great racing. Duke Huyck was back in the final after a.006 light in semis against Zeke who posted a.009 light, but had to breakout to take the stripe.

On the other side it was Bob Carlson cutting a.010 light against last years champ Joe Ferraro who cut a .014 light.  Bob won on a double breakout run and Dukes winning streak ended when he smoked the tire in the final allowing Carlson to take the win.

Vanson Leathers

In Vanson Leathers Pro ET it was Marlo Philippon taking the MTC  #1 qualifying cash on his first time at Bikes in the Valley with a .003 light.

Duke Huyck took the JBT performance # 2qualifier cash in Vanson Leathers Pro ET.

Mike McCarthy in his new Vanson leathers took the Vantine Nitrosports  Quick ET with an 8.17  ET.

In Vanson Leathers Pro ET the 37 bike field was full of more great lights and races. It was the #1 qualifier in Vanson Leathers Pro ET against the #1 qualifier in Brock’s Street Et.  Paul Anderson took the win over Marlo Philippon on his ski doo sled, not bad  for a first trip to the valley.  It was an awesome day at the valley !! The weather the track the atmosphere the new friends made  and the track staff that’s what makes the BIV special.
