Outlaw Street Car: Pro Street WE WANT YOU!

Pro Street WE WANT YOU!

Attention Pro Street Racers and fans:  Southern Street Promotions announced on 21 January that the class of Pro Street Motorcycle has been added to the Outlaw Street Car Reunion IV event to be held at Memphis International Raceway on March 22-26, 2017.  Please see www.oscr.us for full details.

Williford Racing has confirmed that they will be at the event and more top teams will be sure to follow.  For entry and full event information please go to www.oscr.us, and contact Southern Speed Promotions directly.

Tyler Crossnoe is the main man for the event and he’s not only the promoter but the man in charge of the track-prep.  When you see the guy in the fire suit with the helmet on out there doing track prep or directing it: That’s Tyler, he’s not only a promoter, he’s a racer too!

2014 was the first year of the drag-radial type event, and it’s grown exponentially since then.  This is a big event growing on the heels of Yellow Bullet and Lights-Out; it gets bigger and stronger every year.  So why in year 4 of this did they decide to include Pro Street motorcycles?  Tyler responded with “I’ve seen the Pro Street bikes before and they always put on the good show.  They fit right in with what we do and how we do it, so they should really add to our show for our fans.”

This may be the first time Pro Street bikes race in a major drag-radial type event, but it’s not likely the last.  These six-second, 200 mph monsters are strong performers, that can add to any major show.  That plus the fact that these bikes look a lot like the bikes the fans ride and race; so the fan base can really relate to these machines.  Racers and fans alike should not be surprised to see more of this in the future.

Pro Street Motorcycle is our newest class in the Outlaw Street Car Reunion IV event but that doesn’t mean they are coming in quiet! Andy Leslie (Great Lakes Racecraft), Rudy Sanzottera (Quicktime Motorsports) and Joshua Franklin (Franklin Performance Concepts) got the ball rolling from the beginning. Now, Worldwide Bearings, Vanson Leathers Inc. and Walt LTD have come on board to expand the payout to pay 16 spots!! We are so thankful to have great companies believing in us and our program!
