Pro Nitrous Motorcycle
The racing was phenomenal after arguably one of the best PDRA Racing series season openers ever for the East Coast Nationals presented by FuelTech held at GALOT Motorsports Park on April 8-10, 2021.
Defending 3x champion Travis Davis took the #1 qualifying position with a 4.044 at 174 mph and would be unstoppable for the PDRA season opener. In round one of eliminations, he ran a 3.997 at 176 mph for low ET of the weekend on a bye run pass. In round two he ran Brad McCoy taking the win on a career-best pas of 3.958 at 178 mph. In the final round he would face Chris Garner-Jones how just took a win at a recent Man Cup event. Davis would get the jump at the tree with a better reaction and stay out in front to the first win of the season running a 3.995 at 175mph.
Over 300 racers packed to the gills in the pit area while thousands of race fans filled the grandstands at arguably one of the nicest eighth-mile facilities on the planet. Saturday’s eliminations had a vibe that we haven’t seen in a long time and it was incredible to see fans back in the stands at a PDRA race in full force.
