Ryan Schnitz was the big grudge racing winner on the weekend, on the “Orange Crush” Hayabusa. This purpose built grudge bike was the hard work of ‘White Boy John’ pictured above.
John put over 6 months in his small garage and spent countless hours and money to have it ready for the 2013 racing season. John is a Machinist by trade for 25 years now working at Machining Centers of Brighton Michigan doing Prototype and Production machining. He has been married for 31 years now and is proud of his 5 children and five grand-children.
“Without the help of family, friends and great parts suppliers, none of this would have been possible. To finally see this machine come together makes all the hard work worthwhile,” said John. John’s wife said spend whatever it takes to finish the build because he promised to take her to Hawaii for vacation when it was done. So it’s time to start planning that trip!
