PMFR : Back in Business
Back in 2012, PMFR, known as Precision Metal Fab Racing, was acquired by Viper Powersports from former owner John Trunau. PMFR is now operated by Jeff Sutton, a 42 year race veteran has had many obstacles to overcome in getting PMFR back on its feet. He’s been waiting for the moment when he could unleash this wholly redesigned business to consumers. That time has come.
Top to bottom, PMFR has been completely reinvented. From updating machinery, adding a new design and engineering team who have expanded on old designs to improve performance and shortly, a brand new website launch, Sutton has spared no expense in working to create a one stop place for all of your motorcycle needs.
Reinventing a company doesn’t happen overnight. To do it right, takes a certain thought process, willingness to achieve set goals, and a great team. Sutton expects their full line of high performance products to be stocked and on shelves over the next 18 months. Currently they have well over 18,000 parts in stock, and Sutton is looking to double that number.
“Precision takes time”. “I’ll design and test and scrap it, and do it all over again till I get the parts right”, states Sutton. “Our customers come first, in this business there is no room for tolerance.”
Look for Jeff and staff to be present at more and more events this season. They’ve just finished stocking their new trailer and had new tents designed to further promote their brand. The company is healthy and consistently growing. With Viper Powersports as a partner, expect amazing products from this enterprising team!
