Pro Street Motorcycles
The 2021 XDA season for the riders of the Orient Express Pro Street category was more of a push of a return to normalcy than anything, but a return of dominance for Rodney Williford as he returned to championship form.
Rodney’s season stats were that of John Force from the 1990s. Out of twenty-eight rounds, he won twenty-seven of them, only losing once in the finals to Justin Shakir. Another stat is that Rodney was the only rider in Pro Street to go to the finals more than once, as he faced a different rider in each final.
However, all that is out the window for the upcoming 25th Haltech World Cup Finals presented by Wiseco Import vs Domestic race at Maryland International Raceway this coming weekend.
An all-star type of event where a rider had to finish in the top ten in XDA points to be invited for an 8-bike field. Rodney Williford, Justin Shakir, Jason Dunigan, Darion Payne, Greg Wallace, Curtis Brown, Kenny Brewer, Jordan Haase, Ryan Hable and Ryan Bonitatis will represent the Pro Street category sponsored by Ralphie Navarro of Platinum General Services.
None of these riders have ever gone to the winner’s circle at a WCF event. And the cooler temperatures and conditions that only present themselves at this time of year will offer a unique challenge making this a tuner’s competition as much as the rider’s.

When asked about what it is like to not have the pressure of the points championship on their minds, the field of riders are excited for the opportunity to perform in front of a sellout crowd of 40,000 fans at one of the crown jewel facilities in drag racing.
Newly crowned champion Rodney Williford said, “Without the pressure of the championship and the chance to really tackle these mineshaft-like conditions, any of us are capable of winning this race. I’m excited and ready for it.”
Kenny Brewer echoed those sentiments, “We have had a wonderful year with our program, and I couldn’t be happier to be racing at this unique event. Yes, there are favorites, but anyone of the ten of us can find that key ingredient to lead us to victory lane. I just hope it’s me.”
MBP Co-owner and WCF Promoter Jason Miller said, “Pro Street at the World Cup Finals, is an opportunity to showcase the quickest and fastest street bikes in the world on one of the grandest stages in drag racing. These riders bring it at every XDA race, and to have the best of the best at the World Cup Finals is amazing. My brother Chris and I along with the staff of the XDA and MBP can’t thank Ralphie Navarro and Platinum General Services for supporting the Xtreme Dragbike Association and for sponsoring Pro Street bikes at the World Cup Finals.”
