Chrome and Gold

Perhaps there’s nothing quite cleaner and more appealing
on a motorcycle than the lustrous shine of chrome.
AAA Chrome and Gold, of Hendersonville, TN, was put
to the test this off-season, and came through with phenomenal results.

AAA Chrome and Gold was founded by three-time AMA/Prostar Pro Mod champion Charlie
Farrar in 1989. Farrar asserts his company can chrome most any part, no matter
how irregular in shape. Here, he was tested with a valve cover and some small

“We do it all,” Farrar said. “Just send it.”

The motorcycle-savvy company ensures the parts won’t have to be tapped
or rethreaded to be assembled.

“The vast majority of what we do is for motorcycles,” Farrar said.
“So when you send your parts to us we make sure everything will fit right
back together when you get it back.”

As an avid drag racer Farrar recognizes the importance of a quick turn-around.
These parts were back in less than 10 days.

“We take pride in getting the stuff out in 7-10 days,” Farrar said.

AAA chromes all of the Iron Horse Harley handlebars
along with a vast array of parts off of custom V-twins. The company welcomes
components from all makes and models.

For demonstration purposes AAA was sent parts from
a late-seventies Kawasaki KZ, one of the most used power plants in drag bike
racing. The results were outstanding.

Anodizing is also available.
