Racing starts on Friday, and with over 10,000 fans expected to turn out, the volume gets cranked on Saturday and Sunday with an action-packed venue featuring something for everyone:
The WPGC stage will be jamming with DC’s hottest bands on Sunday and WPGC’s own DJ Flexx will be hosting the show! Live performances by Chaz French, New Impressions, Wisdom Speeks, Dorothy Milone, Mr. Major, Adam E and DJ Young Music.
Freestyle Motocross Show
The freestyle motocross show will be held on Sunday and will be packed with action! The ramp to ramp jumps will be right between the track and the bleachers for everyone to see. Watch top riders tackle unimaginable tricks and we may even see some backflips. If you have never seen this type of show in person, then you need to be here to witness it for yourself.
Sound Competition and Custom Bike Show
Team Money Cycles will also be hosting their “Speed and Sound” Tour at this event on Saturday & Sunday with a Sound Competition and Custom Bike Show. Plus, there will also be a “Baggers vs Slingshots” showdown on Saturday evening with Jimmie Da Plug’s SS Takeover Slingshots. These are the wildest custom bikes you have ever seen!
Beer Garden with Bikini Bartenders
The popular beer garden returns with plenty of ice-cold beer served by hot women in bikinis. Grab yourself some great food and cold refreshments and enjoy great racing, music, bike show, freestyle MX and bikini contest. Need we say more?

Also, be sure to check out the huge vendor midway at the WPGC Bike Fest and find all the great deals on motorcycle parts, accessories and apparel. You can meet the reps in person and discuss their great products.
The Bikini Contest has been a part of the WPGC Bike Fest for over a decade and features the hottest girls of the DMV competing for bragging rights and cold hard cash! Hot Girls in Bikinis – Sunday, Sunday, Sunday!
Paint The 1/4 Pink
The famous “Paint The 1/4 Pink” program is back as we raise money for the “Bikers Against Breast Cancer” foundation. This program is for female riders only and will be a 32-bike qualified field that will run Saturday and Sunday. So, come on out and show your support for the girls!
Orient Express Racing Pro Street
Points Leader – Rodney Williford
The last Orient Express Racing Pro Street race ended dramatically with the rise of the liter bikes. With 2019 already on par for the most significant record-setting season, Jeremy Teasley and Frankie Stotz destroyed the ET record running the quickest side-by-side Pro Street pass in history.
At a staggering 6.422 at 222mph Teasley became the quickest pro street racer in history with Frankie Stotz right behind with a 6.464.
The drama continued behind the scenes as a weight penalty went into effect for lighter riders on turbocharged liter bikes in an attempt to keep parity in the class. But the rule change has not discouraged competition as five turbocharged liter bikes will be on the property ready to tackle their latest challenge.
Ryan Schnitz on the HTP Racing Suzuki GSX-R1000 missed the last event but will be back out looking to gain ground on his 1K counterparts. Richard Gadson on the ‘Harley-Davidson Overtime’ sponsored Nitrous GS 1100 owned by Brad Mummert will be back hungry for a record pass after they missed the last race as well. They currently sit at fifth on the Pro Street GOAT List with a 6.54.
Jake Dugan is ready for next weekend with a new four-speed auto in his turbocharged 1000. Chris Moore, who was forced to compete on a backup motor at the Superbike Showdown, will have his ‘A’ motor back in his liter bike as he looks to run a fifty this weekend.
And despite rumors, the DME Racing team already has the GSX-R1000 ready and outfitted with the new rule changes. Team rider, Jeremy Teasley, will continue to work at keeping his name at the top of the GOAT list while attempting to gain points on the front runner, Rodney Williford. Jason Dunigan on the Hayabusa entry, who faced a few struggles during eliminations at the last event, has also had some work done to his bike as he prepares to gain momentum.
And for the Hayabusa fans, there will still be plenty of action. Three of Williford Racing’s Hayabusa’s are the fastest on the planet with Ehren Litten leading them at 232.59 mph! The entire team has been making changes since the last race and will be out stronger than ever with plans to take the liter bikes out quick and early.
Rob Aston will be making the trip down from Alberta, Canada for his first XDA Pro Street appearance on his Hayabusa. So eh, the Canadians will be in the house for Bike Fest!
The landscape of Pro Street was once a throng of Hayabusa’s, but innovative teams are working to show us they can be fast on any platform. And this is the type of competition that moves the class forward. As the numbers on the scoreboard drop, the amount of hard work and innovation rises among the willing. So, the class and the rules will continue to evolve, and XDA will continue moving it forward.

DME Racing Real Street
Points Leader – Anibal Merced
Last year XDA revived the DME Racing Real Street class to now making it the fastest growing Pro class in our industry. Last year Spencer Claycomb won the championship over Anibal Merced. But right now Merced has Claycomb right where he wants him, 60 points behind him. The tide can easily turn after next weekend as the field tightens between the top five racers.
Spencer Claycomb, who ran a 7.69 last weekend, inches closer to Jeremy Teasley’s record of 7.62 going into Bike Fest. We know Claycomb will be out testing like an Amish madman before next weekend. Let’s see if he can pull off a record next weekend.
Chad Sosnowski is hungry to get back to Real Street after missing the last race. Sosnowski chose to be responsible and get customer bikes done at his shop, Competitive Performance, in Macomb, Michigan causing him to miss the Superbike Showdown. With a fresh motor, he will be looking to improve on his best time and move up into the top ten of points.
Wes Brown who has been MIA since the season opener will return to Real Street competition. When asked what kind of changes he’s made to his GSXR, he said, “My willingness to blow the rods out of it.”
We have several new riders coming back to Real Street competition including Joe Franco Jr., Jovi Barnes, and Robbie Guimond. Guimond, who hasn’t been in Real Street competition for almost seven years, is looking forward to bringing his old True Street bike out next weekend for some solid A to B passes. His bike is currently in the hands of Tommy Miceli and Joe Franco as they get it tuned up for Bike Fest. We look forward to seeing him back in action; it’s been too long!
Adding to the Real street excitement, Saturday will feature the Schnitz Racing Shootout that will run during qualifying to give eight competitors a chance at a bonus payout.

HTP Performance Grudge
Tight and reliable, that’s what XDA offers with our ‘no excuse’ prepped track. The bikes in HTP Grudge are wicked fast and will feature the best the East Coast has to offer in No-Time racing.
The Saturday night HTP Performance Afterdark Underground Grudge Program will feature the four Bull classes. XDA’s “Running of the Bulls” features Boosted Bulls, APE Nitrous Bulls, Monster Bulls, and Unit 5 Components Brahma Bulls headlining Saturday night with a potential 54K payout for full fields.
These will run all three days behind the Pro classes as part of XDA’s world-class show, and with over 30+ grudge bikes expected to show up and lay down covert times, the weekend will be action-packed in the grudge arena.
Grudge racers, limited spots are still available, sign up now and reserve yours now at www.xdaracing.com/bulls and earn extra points.
Vance & Hines 4.60
Points Leader – Michael Ostrowski
Since its humble beginnings in 2013, the Vance & Hines 4.60 class has continued to be one of the most competitive categories in motorcycle drag racing. With fields continuing to grow at each event, every pass from qualifying through eliminations keep you on the edge of your seat. Trying to cut a light, and get to the finish line first, all while staying over the 4.60 index is no easy task.
Three races into the season and we have seen three different winners, three different number one qualifiers, all while the class has been stacked with full 32 bike fields. Michael Ostrowski took over the points lead at the recent Superbike Showdown, with former champions Tyler Cammock and Ronald Procopio, along with standouts Michael Thyen, Mac McAdams and others close behind. Recent history has shown us that the championship could come down to the final race of the season.
The FBR Shop 5.60
Points Leader – Bob Carlson
The eighth-mile sportsman class of FBR Shop 5.60 has a new points leader after Bob Carlson snatched the lead out of the hands of Daniel Joyce at the Superbike Showdown with a win. Each of the three events completed this year have seen a different winner, so the points battle in this class is far from over.
Robert Parker who travels to every race from Orlando, FL is currently sitting right outside of the top ten in points. Some of you may remember Parker from the 2012 Kawasaki ‘Zero to Hero’ Challenge. Parker may not have won; however, it was reported that he had the most impressive sixty-foot times of all the competitors. He will need to dig out that competitive spirit at the last three races of the year if he wants to break into the top ten and stay there.
Shinko Tires Crazy 8’s
Points Leader – Dustin Lee
In Shinko Tires Crazy 8’s Dustin Lee who has won the last two races in a row has earned himself a stout lead of seventy-five points. With only three events to go, his competition will need to get on point if they want to make ground on Lee.
Taylor Dunham who is a regular winner over at his local track of Eastside Speedway, has yet to earn a win in XDA’s competitive Crazy 8’s class. Currently sitting in ninth place and almost two hundred points behind the front runner, Dunham could use a Bike Fest win to launch himself into the top five in the points standing.
Mickey Thompson Performance Top Sportsman
Points Leader – Bobby Holland
The quickest bracket class of Mickey Thompson Performance Top Sportsman is also the most wide-open class as far as the points chase goes. With only eighty-one points separating the first from the seventh position, anyone could win this championship and knock current points leader Bobby Holland off his perch.
Next weekend Chester Sosnowski will return to racing after a ten-year hiatus on his newly built turbo wheelie bar bike. Several years ago his trailer was stolen after a night of racing, and he has since been slowly piecing a bike back together while helping his son Chad on his Real Street bike. Sosnowski looks forward to getting some seat time in Top Sportsman before moving up to the 4.60 class.
MPS Racing Pro ET
Points Leader – Bob Carlson
Bob Carlson, like Lee, is also currently leading points in two classes. MPS Racing Pro ET has over 200 racers in the points chase right now, and Carlson only leads by twenty-nine points. Don’t be surprised if in one week we have a different racer in the authority position.
One racer who would like to overtake the top spot is Jay Windsor who has been with the series since it started as MIROCK. Windsor currently sits in the eighth position, exactly 100 points behind the leader. He will need to win rounds next weekend if he wants to take his Kawasaki to the top.
Brock’s Performance Street ET
Points Leader – Dustin Lee
In the Brock’s Performance entry-level class, veteran racer Dustin Lee leads by one hundred points over Derrick Milbourne and 191 other hungry competitors. While a hundred points is a lot in the other sportsman categories, it’s not as significant when this class has two independent races in one weekend. Dustin will need to stay in front of his competition next weekend if he wants to keep his throne.
New York native Simeon Amaru finished tenth in points last year. He is currently sitting in sixth place as his consistency is on the upswing. With six chances left this year, it is still possible to climb to the number one spot.
Next weekend be sure to tighten up those shoelaces and get ready for the ultimate thrill ride that only the XDA can deliver. Head to Maryland International Raceway July 26-28 for the 19th annual WPGC Bike Fest. Don’t miss it!
