MTC Engineering announces event sponsor role for upcoming Man Cup Rockingham event
MTC Engineering has picked up the option for title rights sponsorship at the upcoming Man Cup presented by Vance & Hines event in Rockingham. Aptly named the MTC Engineering Nationals, the September 17-18 event at the historic Rockingham NC facility will assuredly provide continued high speed action across the fabled “Rock” quarter mile.
MTC Engineering is a world-renowned leader in the motorcycle piston and clutch fields. “Taking on the title rights of the Man Cup event allows us to continue to reinforce the MTC brand name as a leader in the motorcycle drag racing industry” stated MTC Engineering CEO and President Eric Hochstetler. “As with our event sponsorships elsewhere in motorcycle drag racing, we feel it is important to have the MTC Engineering name right at the forefront of the sport”
Hochstetler, one of the founding members of the Man Cup back in 2010 has arguably been one of it’s strongest supporters over the last six seasons. “We have always tried, and plan to continue, giving back to the racers by sponsoring the MTC Engineering Super Comp class as well as offering a generous contingency program within the Man Cup series” noted Hochstetler.
“Dave and I are ecstatic to have Eric and MTC Engineering as the event sponsor for our penultimate event of the season” exclaimed event ManCup event director Jay Regan. “MTC Engineering is one of the longest standing names in the sport of motorcycle drag racing. Eric and the MTC trackside support rig are at as many, or more, races per season than anybody, period. MTC Engineering is right there in the racing trenches with the racers. You see the MTC name associated with an awful lot of record holding bikes across the full range of classes. If we are lucky enough to get some fall type weather at Rockingham, you can expect to see records tumble there. And, you will find MTC Engineering products helping to break those records!”
